This brand-new award is designed to give farmers, with the insatiable drive to make a positive difference to plants, animals and humans, the recognition they deserve.
This award recognises farmers who are safeguarding the land for future generations and are embracing sustainable farming practises which work in harmony with the environment.
You will be proactively reducing your carbon footprint whether that be through exploring regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, soil health, water management stockmanship and renewable energy to name but a few.
Entry criteria:
- Must own or manage a farming enterprise in the UK
- Size or scale of the farm is not important
- You will be able to identify challenges within your business and how you have overcome them
- Able to demonstrate sustainable farming practices
