You can enter as many categories as you like, but you must complete a separate submission for each category.

The awards are open to all UK farmers regardless of size, scale or sector.

Yes, we welcome any additional information you can give us to support your application. We also welcome supporting photographs and/or short videos.

The size and scale of your business is absolutely not being judged. The awards are specifically designed to recognise farmers who have gone that extra mile to innovate in their business.

The closing date is 13th July 2018.

An independent panel of judges will select all our winners. There will be a short telephone interview for all shortlisted entries, the dates for these interviews are below, please keep these in mind.

New Entrant of the Year – Monday 13th August (AM)

Family Farm of the Year – Monday 13th August (PM)

Diversification (Small to Med) – Tuesday 14th August (AM)

Diversification (Large) – Tuesday 14th August (PM)

Beef Innovator of the Year- Wednesday 15th August (AM)

Dairy Innovator of the Year- Wednesday 15th August (PM)

Sheep Innovator of the Year – Thursday 16th August (AM)

Agricultural Student of the Year – Thursday 16th August (PM)

Machinery Innovator of the Year – Monday 20th August (AM)

Digital Innovator of the Year – Monday 20th August (PM)

Arable Innovator of the Year – Tuesday 21st August (AM)

Contractor of the Year – Tuesday 21st August (PM)

Farm Worker of the Year – Wednesday 22nd August (AM)

We will contact all shortlisted entrants by 10th August 2018.

The announcement of the winners will be made at the British Farming Awards on the 18th October 2018 at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham.
