Massey Ferguson’s taskforce of equipment includes tractors, harvesting machinery, materials handling, compact groundscare equipment and haytools. In recent years, MF products have won more than 30 prestigious machinery awards in Europe plus many more around the world including North and South America, and China. Latest is Farm Machine of the Year 2023 for the MF 5 S. Some 200,000 tractors bearing the MF ‘Triple Triangle’ marque are produced every year worldwide.
Serving world markets, Massey Ferguson tractors, harvesting equipment and implements are made at parent company, AGCO’s factories in Beauvais, France; Breganze, Italy; Feucht, Germany; Hesston and Jackson, USA; Canoas, Santa Rosa and Ibirubá, Brazil, and Changzhou and Yanzhou in China.
The award-winning Beauvais site in Picardy, France makes Massey Ferguson tractors from 75-400hp and is France’s largest producer and exporter of farm machinery. Some 15,000+ tractors leave the assembly lines each year, 85% of which are shipped to markets all over the world. The production plant has been the subject of a EUR:300 million investment and reorganisation of facilities since 2010.
The 25ha Breganze site in northern Italy produces a full range of MF combine harvesters suitable for small farmers through to the high capacity models required by agribusiness customers. Certified to ISO standards, some of the most recent developments at the 65,000 m2 plant have seen a complete reorganisation of the supply chain and production process, the installation of new rolling and panelling machines, robot welding automated systems, a state-of-the art paint-shop and the opening of the AgriDome Visitors Centre. Most recently to leave the production line is Massey Ferguson’s award-winning IDEAL combine, which boasts the longest rotor at 4.8m.
