Alex Black
Alex is business reporter at Farmers Guardian covering areas including commodity prices, imports and exports, property and land across all agricultural sectors.
In 2014, she graduated with a first class Journalism degree from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston.
After graduating, she worked for a marketing and PR firm as communications officer before joining Farmers Guardian in June 2016.
When she's not studying lists of milk prices, Alex is usually found watching Bolton Wanderers or spending time with her cats.
Louise Bradshaw
Born and bread in Lancashire, Lou started work at Farmers Guardian in 2020.
In 2016 she graduated with a CIM Professional Cert of Marketing from the University Centre of Blackburn.
Louise has over 10 years experience in the marketing industry.
When not in the office focusing on the Agriconnect websites and social media platforms, Lou runs a pick your own pumpkin patch at her husband's family farm. Her hobbies include shooting, walking and spending time with her family.
Danusia Osiowy
After completing a Masters in Magazine Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, Danusia won a place on the graduate trainee scheme at United Business Media.
As part of this she worked on Quantity Surveying News, Cabinet Maker, Pulse, Over the Counter and Pharmacy Today, where she later secured a post as Assistant Editor.
Two years later she left London to return home to Lancashire after she was appointed Features Editor on Farmers Guardian.
Her role as significantly developed over the eight years Danusia has been with Farmers Guardian and she is now Head of Features running Farm Profile, Moving Up and Beyond the Gate in the magazine.
If she isn’t out meeting farmers and families, she is sourcing, writing and editing articles which appear in her sections and developing the content across digital platforms.
She is also Events Producer for the British Farming Awards, an initiative she has been involved with since its launch five years ago.
